Exactly what I was looking for.

I'm a beginning / Intermediate player and actually not a huge blues fan, but I know it can be confusing where to start and where to go with learning guitar. Learn basic math before you get to algebra. This book really breaks down rock / blues in it's basic form and you will start to understand and expand on whatever music genre you're into. You don't have to be an Albert Collins fan but you'll appreciate where it all came from. Blues will give you a place to go to expand your guitar playing experience. I was all over the place until I decided I just needed to ground myself in a course. Great book.

I have a TON of books that do, and end up putting those down because I'm just not there most of the time on concepts, and I JUST LIKE PLAYING GUITAR. I don't always want to THINK ABOUT STUFF when I'm playing. I have used this book consistently for over a year now, and I LOVE it!!! Some of the reasons I like it are: there are a LOT of examples in each chapter, and they progress at a manageable pace. The examples are MUSICAL. Big bonus. The examples are not too difficult causing frustration, and not too hard causing boredom. I've learned a LOT of really great chords using this book.!:-)
The way I practice is, I'll go thru a chapter, all the examples, and then spend about a week each chapter, then go to the next chapter, then repeat the previous chapter. I just keep repeating the older ideas along with the stuff I just learned. This is not a super in depth "music theory" guide, but rather a really logical guide with just enough info so you grasp the concept. You're not bogged down in theory. I use this book and maybe only one or two others more than ANY other guide books I've bought. This is PERFECT. If you're into the blues, the ONLY other one I use as much as this one is "Blues you can use," which is awesome as well, and worth purchasing.
I feel like I know what I'm talking about as I've purchased about 30 instruction books trying to find something that works for ME. We all learn differently, but this one is really worth looking into if my story sounds similar to the way you like to practice/study. And maybe I'll see ya out on the road eventually! :-)

This is a well sequenced study of 12 bar blues examples. The styles progress from simple to more complicated and are easy to follow. If you know chords in the key of A and E you are ready to go through this book.
I am anxious to see book 2.

Certainly not a complete guide!

This is certainly not a complete guide to using the Fitbit. For a start it does not include the full range of products marketed under the name Fitbit. I have a Fitbit Charge HR and this slim book does not mention any products that have the heart monitor function. Calling itself a complete guide,
I bought it specifically for some help in really understanding the Fitbit app and ways of customizing the dashboard and understanding clever ways to get through the challenges of trying to accurately summarize the calorific value of the food one eats.
On the plus side this pamphlet talks about ways you can help yourself become motivated to get fit, ways in which you can use the fitbit as part of a wider strategy to stay fit and healthy and common ways in which we undermine ourselves in staying focused. It is absolutely no help in getting you to use all the different aspects of the dashboard more easily or mention the newer products in the range. If you want some generic motivational help to get fit, and use a piece of technology to help, it might just be worth the cost - but not for me!

Too Unbelievable

I don't normally write this negative a review, but the story is unbelievable. The characters are underdeveloped, the Dom is mean...just mean. I could get into it if I understood his background, which may develop more in later books, but the entire scenario was too much. Normally love Jordan's books, but glad I got this one for free and didn't pay for it.

Addicted to Addicted!

Ok, so this is the first book in the addicted series. Mandy is a twenty four years old woman that moved from Albany to Manhattan to make a career for herself. She goes shopping with her friend Janet to buy some furniture for her new apartment, and meets Richard working in the store. He is very sexy but she is usually into the corporate type. She is not looking for a furniture salesman, but he is very sexy. Richard tells her he will be delivering her furniture for her. When she shows an interest in him her friends doesn't like the idea, she thinks Mandy should date Joe one of the partners in her financial firm, but she cannot get Richard out of her mind. When he delivers her couch Richard, tells her he is interested in her but he doesn't think she could handle him for he is a dominant but Mandy is all vanilla. She asks him to at least give her a chance and they go on a date. She finds out that he is actually the owner of the shop and instantly offers him advise, he tells her he is happy with the way things are that money is not everything. They hit it off well together and go back to her place for a drink. When Richard decides maybe he should leave because he wants her and does not think that Mandy will be able to handle his dominant side. When he explains, Mandy asks him to at least give her the chance, He introduced her to the life of asubmissive and she finds that she likes the things that he does to her. Richard asks her to come to his store the next day so that may speak about what happened. He is not sure they should continue but she is not sure now that she had him she wants to give him up. Richard asked her to take a week and consider if she is sure that this is what she really wants for if it is. He wants to be in a monogamous relationshipas her Dom. If she decides they she would like to start seeing him he would like to take her away for the weekend and explore their budding relationship. At the same time the partner Joe,at her job found out about Richard before he could ask her out and he is not pleased. It seems as if he has some sinister plans for sweet Mandy. I guess we will have to read the next book to see what he has planned for her. This book grabbed me pretty quickly and I cannot wait to see what is in store for Mandy with her new Dom. I gave this book four stars only because I would have liked it to be longer. Great read

This exciting story follows Mandy and her introduction into the life and sexual world of Richard. The two are immediately and intensely drawn to each other, and they quickly embark on a relationship that shows Mandy things about herself that she never knew existed. Despite the naysaying of her friend Janet who is trying to force Mandy into getting involved with their boss Joe, Mandy is happy that things are progressing between herself and Richard. Yet, Joe doesn't seem pleased that Mandy has escaped his grasp.
This first part of the series lays the groundwork for a riveting tale which I am keen to read in its entirety.

Most Useful Foam Roller Book for Legs

I recently purchased two foam rollers: The Lux Fit high density and Trigger Point Performance to help with minor injuries I've been experiencing from running. Out of all the foam roller books on the market, I found this one the most helpful. It deals solely with leg issues, which I find is what the foam rollers are best at targeting. In addition to good exercises for all the muscle groups, the book also has very informative anatomy information about all your leg's muscles, which is great to have. I have posted some pictures of what the book has to offer.

Great for Legs!

I had bought a foam roller because I heard of the great stretching and massage benefits, but it was a little harder to use then I thought. I was having some leg and butt pain and was trying to massage that area. This book goes step by step to use the roller safely and effectively. The illustrations help to determine exactly where the muscles are, so you can target that area. The photos are a great help to perform the exercise correctly with intermediate and advanced exercises. The log is a nice bonus. Overall, a good book to help work out the muscles in your legs and buttock area.
